About
Hello there, my name is Sonia. Coffee is something I am passionate about and I love sharing my experiences with you.
I am a people-centric person. My job involves working with coffee producers in Thailand and other countries worldwide. My professional career in coffee includes enhancing coffee quality, sharing knowledge, and inspiring people to believe in the specialty coffee system as a way to lead to better lives, opportunities, and sustainability.
My mission is simple: to make coffee education accessible, meaningful, and impactful—bridging the gap between farmers, professionals, and coffee lovers everywhere.

Cupping & sensory
Coffee is more than a drink—it’s an experience. Every cup tells a story through aroma, flavor, texture, and aftertaste. My passion is helping people discover that story by teaching the art and science of coffee cupping.
- Sensory perception techniques – training your nose, palate, and mind to recognize subtle notes.
- Cupping practice – building confidence in identifying sweetness, acidity, body, and balance.
- The structure of cupping – how professionals evaluate coffee step by step

producer schoraship program
I believe that the future of coffee lies in the hands of those who nurture it from the soil. To honor their work and support their growth, I am offering scholarships for coffee farmers to join my sensory and cupping classes.
This program is designed to:
- Empower farmers with sensory knowledge to better understand the quality of their own coffee.
- Provide access to professional cupping techniques that strengthen their role in the global coffee community.
- Create opportunities for farmers to connect with roasters, buyers, and coffee lovers worldwide.
By learning how to evaluate coffee through structured cupping and perception training, farmers gain tools to improve their harvests, negotiate fairly, and share their unique stories through every cup.

volunteer with coffee farmer
Coffee is not just about taste—it’s about people, land, and tradition. For those who want to experience coffee at its roots, I offer a volunteer opportunity to visit, learn, and stay with coffee farmers
This program invites you to:
- Live alongside farmers and experience daily life in coffee-growing communities.
- Learn hands-on about cultivation, harvesting, and the sensory journey from farm to cup.
- Build connections with the people who make coffee possible, sharing knowledge and culture.
- Contribute meaningfully by supporting farmers in their work while gaining unforgettable experiences.
Volunteers will not only deepen their understanding of coffee but also create lasting bonds with the communities that nurture it. This is more than a trip—it’s a chance to grow, give back, and carry the story of coffee with you.

coffee origin trip
Twice a year, I invite coffee lovers to join me on a journey to the heart of coffee-growing regions. These Coffee Origin Trips are held every April and December, offering a rare chance to experience coffee at its source.
On each trip, you will:
- Visit farms and see how coffee is cultivated, harvested, and processed.
- Cup coffees at origin, guided by farmers and local experts.
- Connect with producers, learning their stories and building lasting relationships.
- Immerse yourself in culture, exploring traditions, food, and community life.
These trips are more than travel—they are an education, an adventure, and a celebration of the people behind every cup.
Join us in April or December and discover coffee where it begins.
